Senior Portraits:
The deadline to turn in a professional portrait for publication in the yearbook is December 7. Seniors must hand-deliver their digital image on a CD to Mrs. Stacy Smale in room 205. For information about publishing guidelines, go to http://www.macomb.k12.mi.us/utica/uhs/uhs_beta/seniors.htm and click on "Senior Photo Info."

If a senior portrait is not submitted by the deadline, or it doesn't meet publishing guidelines, the yearbook will publish school ID photos, as long as students are dressed appropriately/following the dress code. Seniors that do not have an appropriate ID photo and do not submit a portrait by the deadline will be listed as "not pictured" in the yearbook.

FREE Financial Aid Workshop

Sponsored by Utica and Eisenhower High School Counselors

Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 6:30 pm,  Utica High Auditorium

Our speaker, Carrie Gilchrist, Senior Financial Aid Advisor at Oakland University, will provide
information on how to apply for financial aid for college.

FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION FOR SENIORS AND PARENTS
All college-bound seniors should apply for financial aid for college. The FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, is the only tool used by colleges/universities to determine the amount of money that can be offered to you for financial aid.

Start now; apply for a PIN number for both student and parent. This will allow the form to be “signed” electronically at www.pin.ed.gov.

Beginning January 1, 2016, you may complete your FAFSA application on-line at www.fafsa.gov.

Remember Financial Aid is on a first come first serve basis. Apply before March 1, 2016 in order to qualify for the maximum amount of state aid.

For more info or help in filling out the FAFSA, call 1-800-433-3243 or go to www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov/completefafsa.

COLLEGE GOAL SUNDAY, receive FREE on-site professional assistance filling out the FAFSA form visit www.micollegegoal.org or call 1-800-832-2464 for more information.
